Central Texas home sales, median price rise in March

The Austin area saw a 9.2 percent jump in home sales in March, with the median sales price of those homes rising to $278,000, the Austin Board of Realtors said Thursday. In its latest monthly report, the board said 2,552 homes sold in March compared with 2,336 the prior March.
